Bio/CV

 

Adam Malone is a trial lawyer dedicated to helping families in cases involving brain and spinal cord injuries, burns, amputations, and wrongful death with a concentration in commercial vehicle wrecks and medical negligence.  Adam’s jury verdicts have been highlighted in The National Law Journal as being among the 100 highest in the nation.  Adam speaks frequently around the country on topics related to trial practice, tractor-trailer and other commercial vehicle litigation and medical negligence.

Adam is recognized annually in the peer reviewed editions of Best Lawyers in America and in 2016 was named by Best Lawyers as Lawyer of the Year.  He is recognized annually as one of Georgia’s Super Lawyers. Adam is rated by Martindale-Hubbell with an AV Preeminent rating, the highest rating available for ethics and legal ability and has been designated by judges and his professional colleagues as preeminent in his field. He is also board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocates (NBTA) and by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys (ABPLA) in the complex area of medical negligence.

Adam serves in various leadership capacities with the State Bar of Georgia and holds office in several nationwide legal organizations devoted to upholding the high standards of lawyer competency and protecting the right to trial by jury in civil cases. Adam serves the American Association for Justice on the Board of Governors.  He is also a Leaders’ Forum member of AAJ, and serves on the Board of Directors for the AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group and serves as the liaison for the Brain Injury Association of America.  He is a past Board member of the AAJ Trucking Litigation Group from 2009 to 2013.  Adam is also honored into the prestigious International Society of Barristers (ISOB) and the Litigation Counsel of America as well as a Fellow with the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL).

Adam is a past President of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, past Chairman of the General Practice & Trial Section of the State Bar, and past Chairman of legal education for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.  He currently serves as Executive Vice President for the GTLA.  He is a past Chairman of the Professional Negligence Section of the American Association for Justice.  Adam is also the past President and continues to serve on the Board of Governors for the prestigious Melvin M. Belli Society, a charitable organization that promotes the study of law by funding research, conducting lectures and seminars, and publishing legal articles.

Adam also serves on the Board of Directors for his alma mater Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and Savannah Law School.  He previously served on the Board of Visitors for the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
